Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
News of Mathieu Debuchy’s move away from the Emirates seems not to want to go away as Italian club; AS Roma, French duo of Paris St. Germain and Olympique Lyon have indicated their interests in securing the 30 year old signature, while West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa from the English League have signaled their intentions to sign the French Defender.
Now, German side Bayer Leverkusen have entered the race for the experienced right back, according to the Sun, the German club are interested in the out-of-favour right back in the January transfer window.
Debuchy is said to fancy remaining in England but the only club currently retaining interest in the 30 year old is Aston Villa who are currently bottom of the Premier league table. Villa coach was reported to want to use his relationship with Arsenal boss; Arsene Wenger to secure a loan deal for Debuchy, but being bottom of the league could force Debuchy to look elsewhere.
Bayer Leverkusen wants Debuchy on loan; the Gunners could use it as an opportunity to secure the services of former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez. Debuchy could be used as a bait to get the Mexican in the transfer window.
Debuchy lost his place in the Gunners starting line-up after sustaining an injury that kept him out of the squad for a long time. In his place, Hector Bellerin has deputised fantastically well and has made the right back position his by churning in wonderful performances week in week out.
