Santi Cazorla is the latest Arsenal star to be linked with a move to China in recent weeks.

Last week, The Sun claimed Alexis Sanchez was exploring the possibility of moving to China if he doesn’t sign a contract extension at Arsenal and Santi Cazorla is now the latest Gunner to be linked with a move to the middle east.

Cazorla’s contract expires at the end of the season and talks to extend his contract have not even begun. The player has been out of action for about eight weeks with an Achilles injury and he is now set to miss at least another three months with an ankle injury.

His injury troubles is said to be putting his Arsenal future in doubt and Wenger will most likely wait for him to recover before offering him a new deal.

Reports in Spain are now claiming Chinese side Hebei Fortune are preparing a January move for the midfielder.

Don Balon via the Daily Star claims the Chinese side are willing to offer the midfielder one of the best deals in the world.

Manuel Pelligrini who is currently in charge of the Chinese side is reportedly keen on Cazorla and has assigned his agent to take charge of negotiations to lure the midfielder to China.

The report also added that the midfielder is tempted with the huge wage package on offer, meaning he could be open to a move to China if his Arsenal future is not resolved as soon as possible.

This wouldn’t go down well with many Arsenal supporters who are keen for Cazorla to remain at Arsenal. He is currently one of our best players and would be a big loss if allowed to leave.

Cazorla’s absence in recent weeks has not been easy to cope with and it will be even more difficult for us to cope without him if he is allowed to leave.
