Chelsea have reportedly identified the ideal player to replace Belgian international Eden Hazard should he decide to quit the Blues, according to reports. The London side have decided to swoop for Arsenals Alex Oxlade Chamberlin as the player to replace hazard in the Blues ranks.
Hazard looks set to depart Stamford Bridge in the summer with Spanish giants Real Madrid interested in securing his service in the coming season as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez or Gareth Bale, with at least one of the trio is likely to depart the Santiago Bernabue in the summer.
Hazard has also attracting the interest of some other European heavyweight with his performance last season but he has so far failed to replicate that stunning form this term as the Blues are currently struggling without his influence on games. German side Bayern Munich and French champions; Paris St Germain are also said to be interested in the player’s signature.
Chelsea are set to offer Chamberlin a fresh challenge at Stamford Bridge next summer as he has failed to tie down a regular place in the Gunners line up this season. The 22 year old may fancy a move but it is clear that Arsene Wenger would not sanction his sales as he is valuable squad member at Arsenal let alone being sold to a direct rival; this deal is most likely not going to see the day of light.
