Arsenal’s busy summer is set to continue with the potential addition of Juan Cuadrado from Italian Champions Juventus.

The club is ready to make an improved £30m bid after previously having a £16m  bid turned down.

The former Chelsea winger has been seen as a like for like replacement for Alexis Sanchez who might be leaving the Emirates this summer if he refuses to extend his contract that is set to expire in 12 months.

Arsene Wenger has been an admirer of the Colombian international since his days at Fiorentina before he joined Chelsea, and made a bid that was rejected recently, now he is prepared to double the bid to test Juventus resolve.

He recently signed for Juventus for €20m after a successful two seasons on loan at the Turin club, but with Juventus chasing both Douglas Costa and Frederico Bernardeschi, and hoping to sign them soon, Cuadrado might be allowed to leave Juventus Stadium.

The 29-year-old who can play as a winger, right wing back in a three man defence and as a right back would bring quality versatility in Arsenal’s new 3 man defence system. He has been capped 63 times by Colombia, scoring 7 goals.
