Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal have reportedly had a £2m bid for Charlton Atletic striker Ademola Lookman accepted, according to the Sun.
The striker has been attracting a lot of interest from premier league giants including Arsenal and Man City.
The Gunners sent scouts on several occasions to watch the 18 year old in action for the Championship side and Wenger is now keen to follow up his interest with an official bid.
His former manager at Under-21 level had a lot of good words for the striker and says the striker is always trying to improve himself:
“He just loves playing football,” he said. “If we do certain sessions or we finish and Ademola feels he hasn’t done enough for the day – we don’t want to risk him getting injured – then he sulks.
“That’s natural for him, because he just wants to play football all the time – U18, U21 or first-team.
“He doesn’t see it being Birmingham, Ipswich or Brighton – he just sees another football match where he wants to perform.
Lookman has scored three goals for the Addicks since making his first team debut in November last year.
