Arsenal travels to Milan in the midst of a genuine crisis after losing eight of their last 13 games in all competitions.

The weekend defeat to Brighton has left any hopes of a top-four finish in tatters while Man City defeated the Gunners in the Carabao Cup final.

Arsene Wenger’s side sit in sixth place and know their only realistic route to playing UEFA Champions League football is to win the Europa League.

However, Arsenal will face an in-form AC Milan at the San Siro on Thursday night.  The Rossoneri have been in impressive form since Gennaro Gattuso was appointed as manager.

The Serie A giants are unbeaten in their last 13 matches.

Wenger is set to make major changes following his sides recent run of form. According to the Daily Star, the French tactician is considering switching to a 4-3-3 formation.

Star defender Nacho Monreal is a major doubt after picking up a back injury while Alexandre Lacazette is ruled out as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who joined Arsenal for £60m in January – is ineligible for selection after featuring for Borussia Dortmund.
