Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal fans can begin to get excited, and expect to see new faces soon at the Emirates after Arsene Wenger revealed that he is hoping to sign two new players in the next ten days.
The Gunners are already in the market this January, with reports saying that Egyptian midfielder Elneny would be joining this week from Basel, to confirm Wenger’s promise of a busy January window last month.
However, Wenger refuses to confirm any imminent deal, not even Elneny’s, but he said he hopes to bring in some players soon.
“I don’t give much away [about transfers] because I don’t know [what’s going on],’ said Wenger.
‘I want to talk about them and hopefully we are capable of doing something in the next 10 days.
‘It’s more about quality than quantity because our players will not stay out injured forever. Francis Coquelin is starting to run, Santi Cazorla will be back in mid-February, and Mikel Arteta is back now so, hopefully, if we can add one and, if needed, two maximum.”
