Francis Coquelin was substituted just 14th minutes in the first hold of weekend’s game and was replaced by Mikel Arteta who was also forced off the field after suffering a knock.
Arsene Wenger Believes the injury suffered by Coquelin is more severe than that of Mikel Arteta’s own but he is unsure on the extent of either until the scan result comes out.
“We have two more injuries,” Wenger said after a disappointing afternoon. “One is a muscle problem for Arteta and the other one is a knee problem and I don’t know how serious that is but we will know certainly tomorrow, for Coquelin.
“Arteta is a calf,” Wenger added. Arsenal fans would likely have a different word for what exactly Arteta is.
Newer reports have emerged via the Metro claiming Arsene Wenger confirmed Francis Coquelin will be out for at least for the next three months.
