The performances of Abdoulaye Doucoure have attracted the attention of big name clubs and it is rumored that Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in securing his signature in the summer.
Watford midfielder insists he welcomes interest from Liverpool and Arsenal. Frenchman has been one of Watford’s outstanding players this season, scoring seven goals as the Hornets have improved in the standings of Premier League.
In the interview to French publication L’Equipe, Doucoure said that it is an honour to be linked with Premier League giant and admits he will ‘see what the state of play is’ at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old stated: ‘I’m coming to an important step. ‘It’s a pleasure to see these big clubs are interested in me’.
Doucoure also said he is hopeful of earning a place in France’s squad for the World Cup in Russia. He is yet to be capped, but Didier Deschamps may consider calling him as he is in a tremendous form.
Frenchman joined Watford from Rennes back in 2016 and in the second season already he attracted interests from Liverpool and Arsenal. In Current season French midfielder started in 27 games while scoring seven goals.
