Arsenal are monitoring Roma star Alexandro Florenzi but the Gunners will have to battle with Barcelona and Tottenham for the defender’s signature. The gunners are reportedly keen on adding to their defensive options and Wenger sees the Italian as a perfect addition to his side.
Wenger’s side will face competition from a number of top clubs as Barcelona and London rivals Tottenham are also interested in signing the defender.
Barcelona’s interest in the versatile defender will be a source of worry for Arsene Wenger’s men as the la liga giants are keen on the fullback.
Barcelona see Florenzi as a long term replacement for Dani Alves who is closing in on his 400 apperances for the La liga giants.
Tottenham have also been credited with an interest in the winger, the White Hart Lane side have been watching the 24 year old for some time and the club’s hierarchy are said to be impressed with his ability to play in the midfield and defense.
Florenzi has featured 18 times for both club and country and has found the back of the net 4 times.
The player’s contract at Roma does not expire until 2019 and it is still unknown for how much the Italian club value its player.
Florenzi is a product of the Roma academy and has made 120 appearances for the Roma first team scoring 16 goals.
