Arsenal target Malcom has revealed that he dreams of playing for Bayern Munich, who have reportedly joined the race to sign the winger.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been admirers over the past year, with Arsenal supposedly coming close to securing the Brazilian’s signature.
Despite reports that Munich are in the hunt for the 20-year-old, manager Jupp Heynckes down-played the accusations, revealing he has not even seen Malcom play.
I have never seen him play, therefore, I am not able give an opinion on him. I don’t think there is interest here. He always gets put into the shopping window but nobody really goes after him.
Malcom, though, will not be ready to give up his ultimate dream, when speaking of the prospect of joining Bayern, he said:
Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and it would be a dream to play there one day. It makes me happy that they are thinking about me. I will keep working hard to improve and, who knows, a transfer to Munich might become reality soon.
He has scored 8 goals and provides 6 assists for 11th placed Bordeaux this season.
Unless Heynckes decides to take a risk and sign the forward, Malcom may just choose to make a switch to North London, to either Arsenal or Tottenham, as he seems eager to give it a go in England.
The Premier League is also a very interesting option. I learned the language quickly, had no major difficulties. French was much harder, so in England I would be fine. But, in the end, I can integrate anywhere.
