Arsenal completed the signing of Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner but they have gone one more better according to emerging reports in France.
The Gunners have completed the signing of French and Paris Saint Germain midfielder Yacine Adli , reports RMC in France.
While in the reins of Paris Saint Germain, Emery handed Adli game time with the Parc des Princes outfit and the pair will again link up at the Emirates.
Arsenal were linked with a move for the 17-year-old midfielder since the past week and they have agreed to pay PSG €200,000 in compensation. Adli is yet to sign a professional contract for the Ligue 1 Champions and he rejected contract offers for him in order to complete a move to Arsenal.
Emery is reportedly handed a meagre transfer budget and he has begun using the same sum judiciously. Lichtsteiner was signed on a free transfer and now Adli is coming somewhat cheap – however, Adli is a player for the future as he is not expected to slot into the Gunners first team immediately.
It is claimed that Emery is following in the footstep of the Gunners former boss, who invested heavily in youths and had an era where he dominated in the English league.
