Arsenal have completed the signing of two new fitness coaches, to add to the growing list of physios at Arsenal.
After the arrival of Shad Forsythe last summer to curb the perennial injury crisis at Arsenal, James Haycock and Barry Solan has been added this summer.
James Haycock, former Head of Physiotherapy at Huddersfield, comes with a load of experience having also worked as Head of Physiotherapy in Hartepool, Newcastle, English institute of Sport and the English FA.
While Barry Solan an Irish Conditioning Coach who also has huge experiences as he was part of the German World Cup winning team; having worked together with Forsythe for Sports Performance firm EXOS
“Solan will be current head of performance enhancement Shad Forsythe’s assistant, but his official title is strength and conditioning coach.” according to the Daily Mail.
Solan and Forsythe’s partnership, as well as that of Haycock, will add greatly to the fitness team’s ability to prevent the load of injuries that has caused Arsenal a lot in recent years.
