Olivier Giroud is set to remain at the Emirates despite reports linking him with an exit.
The striker is attracting interest from Olympique Marseille and Everton, both of whom are reportedly prepared to table a huge bid for his services this summer.
Despite signing a new contract in January, reports suggested the striker will be happy to leave the Emirates because of the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette, but the 30 year old appears to have had a change of heart and could now remain at the club.
Giroud was open to the idea of leaving the club this summer but Wenger who wants a strong squad at his disposal next season has apparently done enough to convince the French man to remain at the club.
According to the Express, the French striker is on the verge of making a decision on his future and it is increasingly likely he is now going to stay at the Emirates.
Giroud scored 16 league goals for Arsenal in 11 starts last season and the arrival of a new striker could further reduce his chances next term. However, the striker who scored crucial goals for the team last term despite losing his place in the starting xi is not going to be deterred and will now stay to fight for his future again.
He has the quality to play for most teams in Europe and having him around as one of our striking options along will Lacazette is definitely good for the team.
