Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Italian giants Inter Milan have named their price for Arsenal target Marcelo Brozovic, according to the Metro.
The Gunners – despite completing a deal for Basel powerful box-to-box star El Nenny have been linked with a move to sign the Croatia international in January with Wenger reportedly sending an agent to complete the deal as soon as possible, as per the Metro.
The Gunners have now moved a step closer to signing the midfielder after they were told that a fee of £18.4m will be enough to sign the player, according to the Metro.
The midfielder is currently on loan at Inter Milan but the Italian giants are set to activate the clause in the player’s loan deal that will enable them sign the player permanently and in turn sell the 23 year old for a large profit.
Wenger believes the midfielder has the skillset to play in the Premier league and should Brozovic complete a move to Arsenal, he could be a vital member of the Gunners team just like Coutinho is for Liverpool after leaving Inter Milan where he wasn’t highly rated also.
Brozovic has played twenty seven times for Inter Milan scoring three goals.
