According to latest report, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has sanction a deal for Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez is out of contract at the end of this season and he is yet to commit his future to Arsenal. The Gunner are left with the better choice of cashing in on him in this window.
The Chilean was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain in the summer but Arsenal decided to pull the plug on Sanchez’s proposed £60 million to the Etihad after the failed to sign a replacement for him.
City have refused to quell their interest in Sanchez. Even though Pep Guardiola does not want to disrupt the understanding in his squad, he believes Sanchez’s addition will make his forward more potent.
Report according to Manchester Evening News has revealed that Guardiola has sanctioned a move for the 29-year-old and he wants the deal to be sealed before the close of the window.
Manchester will be without Gabriel Jesus for the next six week after he sustained a knee ligament injury and Guardiola fears losing Sergio Aguerro in the same manner.
Arsene Wenger had revealed earlier this month that Arsenal will not allow Sanchez leave this month. However, the club are poised to sign a replacement for him.
‘This club has lost many, many big players and has always responded well,’ said the Arsenal manager.
