Former Arsenal Star Ray Parlour has urged Aubameyang to make the move to the Premier League this month as it could be his final chance to do so.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is currently looking to land Aubameyang fresh from swapping Alexis Sanchez for Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan starred at Dortmund and Parlour reckons the attacking duo would fit in well at the Emirates together.
And he believes Aubameyang should make the move to north London if he seriously wants to ply his trade in England before he retires.
Parlour told talkSport: “It would be a decent window if they could get him.
“You look at it and you know Sanchez is on his way, you’ve got to replace him.
“You might say [Mkhitaryan is] not as good as Sanchez but he can still fit into Arsenal very well with the way they play.
“He [Aubameyang] has got to look at [his discipline] but he’s got a chance now, [nearly] 29 years old.
“He probably has three or four years left on his lifespan at the top level I should imagine. So this is a real opportunity for him to play in the Premier League.
“He might say ‘look, I can’t let this go, I need to go and prove myself in the Premier League’.
“As you rightly say with his pace and his goal power, and the good thing is that [Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan] played together at Dortmund.
“They seemed to fit in really well in a team together.”
