Arsenal are said to have sealed a deal that would see an exceptionally gifted teenager move to the Emirates when he turns 18.
The report according to Mirror, claim that a deal believed to be in the region of £4.5 million has finally been sealed for teenage sensation Maxi Romero.
The young Argentine is said to have impressed the Gunners with his dribbling skills and composure in front of goal and has been dubbed by many as the next Lionel Messi.
Negotiations to sign the 16-year-old has been ongoing and despite a hitch in sealing the deal a fortnight ago due to issues over ownership rights, the Gunners have advanced in talks and a deal reached for the South American star who currently plays for Valez Sarsfield.
Romero is expected to join Arsenal in 2 years’ time when he turns 18, to kick-start his Arsenal career.
One for the future you would say. Who knows, we may have just signed the next Lionel Messi.
