Former Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry has dropped a big hint that he could make a return to the Emirates in the future.

The German left Arsenal for Werder Bremen last summer and has already established himself as one of the Bundesliga top players within a short time.

Since moving to Bremen, the winger has been in superb form and has forced his way into the Germany national team. He already has seven league goals in 15 games for his team and also scored an hat-trick in his debut for the Germany national team.

His performances have reportedly placed him on the radar of big clubs with Bayern Munich said to be interested in his services.

However, the 23 year old says he is only focused on Bremen but admitted it will be difficult to turn down a move back to the Premier League particularly Arsenal and Chelsea.

When asked about his future, Gnabry said, as quoted by the Daily Star:

“About my future decides how I play now and today.

“That’s why I’m trying to concentrate on the now.

“Today I do not intend to change in the summer.

“But what happens in the future depends on my performance.

“What if Chelsea or Arsenal knock? I’m trying to give everything to Werder.”

Gnabry featured just 10 times in the league for Arsenal since he joined in 2012 and managed to score just one goal. His stats for Bremen shows he has improved a lot since the move back to Germany.

The youngster being open to the idea of returning to the Emirates will definitely excite Gooners but it may not be easy for us to complete a deal if we decide to bring him back.

It doesn’t look like we included a buy back clause in the deal that took him to Bremen and should he continue to develop at this rate, he could become one of the most sought after footballers in the next few years which would complicate any move to bring him back here.
