Arsene Wenger is expected to be able to call upon Mathieu Flamini and Mesut Ozil for the trip to Anfield, with both thought to only have minor knocks.
Flamini should start alongside Aaron Ramsey in the double-pivot in the 4-2-3-1 formation, then, with Ozil expected to remain in the number ten role.
Joel Campbell once again impressed in the 3-1 win over Sunderland in the FA Cup on Saturday: he could challenge Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain for a place out wide, with Theo Walcott taking the other berth on the flank. Olivier Giroud should continue as the lone striker.
Wenger is expected to name his strongest back four against Liverpool, so Hector Bellerin, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal should all start.
David Ospina faces a late fitness test due to a groin problem, but Petr Cech will start in goal in any case.
Alexis Sanchez is still unavailable due to a hamstring injury, while Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky all remain on the sidelines.
Having said this, here is how Wenger is expected to line up his side against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
