Gary Lineker took to social media to suggest that Arsene Wenger should himself consider his future at Arsenal after the Gunners slumped to a 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners have now lost four times in a roll and have conceded 8 goals in the last three games.

Goals from Lewis Dunk and Glenn Murray put the home side 2-0 up at the Amex Stadium but Arsenal did manage to pull a goal back before half-time when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished from close range.

Arsenal are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table and looking unlikely to finish in the top four this term.

However, England legend Lineker seems to think that it would be wise for Arsene Wenger to consider leaving Arsenal after his 26 years as the manager.

Lineker wrote on Twitter after the final whistle: “If I were Arsene Wenger, I might consider firing Arsene Wenger.”
