GOOD NEWS: Arsenal Handed MASSIVE Boost Ahead Of Capital One Cup Clash

Arsenal have been handed a massive boost ahead of their fourth round clash of the Capital One cup against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Gunners have been boosted ahead of the match with the return of assistant captain Per Mertesacker as confirmed by Arsene Wenger ahead of the clash away at Sheffield Wednesday.

Speaking to the press ahead of the game, Wenger said.

“There are no new problems from Saturday, Per Mertesacker is available again after illness. Nobody else is coming back. Arteta will not be fit. Ramsey, Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky of course are all out too.

The boss also confirmed that Per Cech will also be starting in goal for Arsenal, with David Ospina still sidelined due to injury.

“Ospina is still out too, so Cech will certainly play.
