Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are eyeing a move for Nigerian youngster, Austin Amutu, who currently plays for Hapoel Ironi Kiryat as a centre forward, according to reports.
It is believe that Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger is a big admirer of the youngster and he is plotting a move to bring him as the Gunners boss has been monitoring his progress for a while now.
Amutu stated that ’’ it has been my dream to play for Arsenal; they came for me while I am at Warri Wolves and I think it was money that truncated the whole thing. I am happy that a coach like Wenger has interest in me for long, still keeps his eyes on me and has not lost interest. I believe I am not far away from my dream of playing for Arsenal. He recommended me to Angers. The French team which watch me score in Toto Cup semi-finals.
Wenger is known to have interest in African players that’s got potentials, he brought in Kolo Toure from Asec Mimosa in Cote D’ivore as a relatively unknown player to Arsenal and watched him blossom to be one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Emmanuel Eboue, Lauren of Cameroun, Nwankwo Kanu of Nigeria, Alex Song etc. are several other African players he hs brought to Arsenal.
