While there is so much uncertainty over the future of some Arsenal key players, Mesut Ozil has allayed fears that he is not committed to the cause of the club.

Ozil has come under staunch criticism by all and sundry for failing to leave up to his bidding. It is said that the German playmaker do not give his all given his antecedent.

Ozil has been linked with a move to Manchester United but recent reports indicated that he would sign a new deal with Arsenal if he’s given the no.10 jersey.

The Germany international is yet to pen down a contract extension deal with Arsenal despite Arsene Wenger’s claim that he is optimistic the star would stay put at the Emirates.

The 29-year-old has now pledged his 100percent commitment to Arsenal, dismissing claims that he wants out of Arsenal as soon as January.

“Obviously people are going to write and speculate. But I am 100 per cent an Arsenal player,” the midfielder said

“I want to perform here and have fun here. I’m enjoying my time here but I can’t say what will happen in the future.”

He started the season slowly and the only game he really did well for Arsenal this term was against Everton.

If he does not sign a contract by January, he is likely to walk away from Arsenal as a free agent next summer and this will not gone down well with a lot of fans, who have also accused Wenger of being frugal in the transfer window.

Ozil is still a world class players but the Arsenal factor i believe is what has affected his performance and it may take the change of coach for him to get back to his best.
