Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal are ready to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in the January transfer window, according to reports. The Midfielder was initially tipped to join the Gunners before opting to join Serie A giants Inter Milan on an 18 months loan deal last January from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Gunners boss has instructed an agent to seal the deal for Brozovic from Inter Milan as Wenger has been tracking the Croatian this season and he is keen to bringing him to the Emirates.
Inter Milan are set to make the loan deal permanent by offering £8 Million to Dinamo Zagreb after the midfielder impressed the San Siro based club; but he will then be sold. Italian based source; CalcioMercato stated that Arsenal are ready to do business with Inter Milan to allow the player join the Gunners for £8.4 Million, the Gunners could face London rival’s Chelsea in their quest to securing the midfielder; with the Blues reportedly keen on Brozovic.
Inter Milan may decide to capitalise on Chelsea’s interest to raise their asking price for the 23 year old; the Blues are known to snatch players from under the nose of Premier League rivals as they did to Tottenham with Willian and to Manchester United for Arjen Robben, John Mikel Obi and most recently Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona.
Arsenal need a player like Brozovic to boost their midfield plagued by injuries to Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky.
