Arsenal second choice goalie David Ospina has revealed that he won’t make a decision concerning his future until the end of the current season.

The goalkeeper has been superb since joining the club in 2014, notably forcing Sczcesny to the bench last season. Despite his superb performances for the club last season, Wenger signed Petr Cech from Chelsea and Ospina has found himself on the bench for majority of this season.

The Colombian shot stopper has been linked with a move away from the club since falling behind Petr Cech and was heavily touted to leave the club in January but he has now revealed he is only thinking of Arsenal at present and won’t make a decision on his future until the summer.

He said: “Since Petr joined we have built a good friendship, as quoted by Dailycannon.

“However, we are still competing for the spot.

“I don’t want to think about the summer. I’m focused on the present and my present is Arsenal.

“We will see how this season ends, then we will see what happens with my future.”

Ospina has made 20 league appearances for the club since making his debut in 2014.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly interested in the Colombian international.
