During a press conference on Tuesday, Arsene Wenger confirmed fans fear after revealing some key players will be ruled on Wednesday’s clash against the current Premier League leaders Chelsea.

The Gunners head into Wednesday’s match unbeaten in their last eight, but six points adrift of the top four.

Wenger confirmed that defenders Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac both picked up injuries in the West Brom game.

Koscielny has an outside chance of playing against Chelsea after Wenger gave him a 30% hope of being involved.

Kolasinac is likely to miss the next weeks of action. That means he’ll miss matches against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea in the FA Cup and League Cup. He’ll also miss Bournemouth away in the Premier League.

Arsenal were already suffering from a long injury list.

Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey, and Nacho Monreal are all on the sidelines, while Santi Cazorla is a long-term absentee.
