Arsenal have suffered a slight set-back in their bid to complete their second signing of the summer.

According to the Express, via Daily Mail, Arsenal have been told to improve their offer for KAS Eupen ace Henry Onyekuru.

Onyekuru, who has been touted as Arsene Wenger’s second signing of the summer, after the reported first signing of Bundeliga star Sead Kolasnic, will be hoping Arsenal push through the remaining details of his transfer for him to fulfill his dreams of playing in the Premier League.

Last week, reports claimed we were in advanced talks with KAS Eupen over the transfer of the striker and negotiations had moved on swiftly with a deal to be completed and announced in the coming days.

“Henry (Onyekuru) is close to becoming a Gunner, the transfer fee has been agreed and his weekly wages and other personal terms have been agreed,” the source said.

However, fresh reports from the Daily Mail, via Express, say the Gunners need to increase their bid to get the 19-year old Nigerian International a work permit.

The winger and forward recently had a wonderful season under his belt, bagging 25 goals in all competition for the Belgian outfit which saw him finish the campaign as the League’s top scorer.

Arsenal attacker and Nigerian International teammate Alex Iwobi sent news of Onyekuru’s transfer overdrive after he was spotted taking selfies with the reported new signing in France while on international duty, which prompted many to conclude a deal for the youngster may well be done and dusted.
