Fast rising Ligue 1 star Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel has fueled rumours linking him with a move to the English Premier League this summer, according to reports.

The sensational Saint-Etienne full-back has found good fortune this season, racking up a good number of minutes on the pitch despite stiff competition for places in his position.

The 18-year-old star has had to contend with established right-back Kevin Malcuit for game time this season, and successfully played over 1000 minutes of Ligue 1 football so far this season.

Speaking to But! Football Club in France, Pierre-Gabriel explained his dream destination, the one where he knows he will have made it if he signs there, is Arsenal: “I’ve always had a soft spot for them”.

The sensational youngster who has modeled his style of play around his idols – Phillipe Lahm and Serge Aurier will surely face a stiff battle with Hector Bellerin for the right-back spot if he is to join Arsenal in the summer.

However, the France U19 star has a slight edge over Bellerin due to his ability to play both the right-back and left-back. Surely, his versatility is something any manager would not overlook and this could well be the reason why Arsene Wenger would stick his neck out and sign him in the summer.
