Arsenal vs Manchester United. Emirates Stadium. 4th Of October 2015.
The Red Devils will travel to the capital on Sunday to take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in what is expected to be a battle for the top of the League table.
Louis van Gaal made one change from the side which defeated Southampton for the home win over Sunderland, as Antonio Valencia replaced the injured Marcos Rojo at the back, with Matteo Darmian shifting to the opposite flank.
Van Gaal could deploy a similar set up in defence for the Emirates trip, though Ashley Young and the fit-again Phil Jones offer further options after making appearances off the bench in midweek.
Michael Carrick should return to the side after a knock forced him out of the Wolfsburg win on Wednesday. Carrick could replace Bastian Schweinsteiger in the midfield engine room, while Ander Herrera could also be in the frame having missed the midweek tie with a knock.
Further forward, an unchanged front four would seem likely, with Juan Mata, Memphis Depay and Wayne Rooney supporting youngster Anthony Martial.
Paddy McNair has been ruled out, whilst Luke Shaw remains a long-term absentee with a leg injury.
Having said this, here is how I expect van Gaal to line-up his side against Arsene Wenger’s men.
