Long time Arsenal target Pedro Rodriguez has been “strongly linked” with a move to Manchester United recently according to the Daily Mail.
After bolstering his squad with the addition of Bastian Schweinsteger, Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin and Matteo Darmian, United manager Louis Van Gaal is believed to want to add the versatile forward to complete his star studded frontline, ending the transfer rumors of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pedro’s addition would complete a forward line which already has Depay, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Angel Di Maria and would represent an upgrade on the forward line that started last season for United which included Falcao and Robin van Persie.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been previously linked to the Pedro, with Mourinho reported to be unwilling to meet his release clause, and Suarez rumored to have convinced the attacker to reject Liverpool, paving the way for United to sign him.
The Barcelona forward who has won every single trophy at club and international level is reported to have told friends he’d prefer a move to United.
With the Spaniard’s release clause set at £22million the capture of the forward will send Man United’s summer spending above £100million possibly ending their summer businesses.
