According to reports making the round, Arsenal goalie David Ospina is in talks with Fenerbahce over a transfer in this summer transfer window.
Reports from Turkey claim that Ospina has agreed a four-year deal with Fenerbahce and that the two clubs have settled on a €3.5 million transfer fee.
However, no official statement has been released in regards to this deal but sources in Turkey believe Ospina will jet down for medicals on Thursday.
But it is beleived the transfer appears to have been delayed by Arsenal’s decision to increase their asking price very late in negotiations and with Fenerbahce wanting a loan deal and Arsenal keen on selling the Colombia international.
Ospina joined Arsenal from Nice in 2014 but has gone on to make just 24 Premier League appearances. The keeper made just 14 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions last season.
Cech is expected to remain as Arsenal’s first-choice keeper next season with Emiliano Martinez being promoted to a No. 2 role if Ospina leaves.
