Cesc snubbed by Hleb ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifying match. [Picture: Twitter]
Aleksandr Hleb has put a smile on the face of millions of Arsenal fans worldwide (at least he did on mine), with a clip of him snubbing former Arsenal captain and teammate Cesc Fabregas, when the two sides met over the weekend.
Hleb, who played for both Arsenal and Barcelona alongside Fabregas appeared to have snubbed a greeting attempt from Fabregas.
Belarus took on Spain over the weekend and Belarusian international Hleb, blanked the Chelsea man in the tunnel before the kick-off of their Euro 2016 qualifying match; making himself an instant Arsenal hero, as he was clearly unhappy with the Spaniard from all indications.
34-year-old Hleb, played for Arsenal between 2005 and 2008 before joining Barcelona, lining up alongside Cesc Fabregas for both sides.
Hleb – now playing in Turkey – made a point of greeting his former colleagues Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique, but gave Fabregas the coldest of shoulders.
