David Ospina could move to the United State’s Major League Soccer, if he fails to secure a move to Fenerbahce this summer, according to reports.
Fenerbahce are long-time admirers of the goalkeeper and they are being touted as the player’s next club.
Recently, we covered a report that the Turkish giants have already made an official bid for the goalkeeper and are waiting for Arsenal to respond.
However, the deal is in danger of collapsing because Arsenal and Fenerbahce are in disagreement over the player’s transfer fee, and so far, the Gunners are reluctant to reduce its demands.
The Daily Cannon are now claiming Ospina could move to the MLS if a move to Fenerbahce falls through.
The report suggests Ospina is desperate to play regularly and wouldn’t mind making a move to the US.
A player of Ospina’s quality ought to be playing for a more developed league than the MLS but he is the master of his future and have to make the best decision for him.
Ospina has made his desire to leave known to Arsenal and I expect a move to a club in Europe to happen before the end of the transfer window.
The Colombian is good enough to play at many big clubs, so he shouldn’t be short of offers from clubs in Europe if a move to Fener falls through.
