According to the Daily Star, Arsenal are reportedly interested in returning to France with an improved bid for Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be an admirer of the French striker who has scored over 100 goals for Lyon since joining them from their junior rank.

The Gunners are currently the frontrunners for the France striker after Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban was upheld.

The Daily Telegraph reported the Gunner had a £30million offer rejected last summer and have seen another £27.5million rejected for the star man last week.

Now reports suggest Arsenal are set to make another bid close to £50 million to seal a deal for the 26-year-old.

However, reports suggest Lyon are closing in on the signing of Bertrand Traore from Chelsea as the speculation surrounding the future of their star striker Alexandre Lacazette intensifies.
