Arsene Wenger has revealed that two key men could return for Arsenal during the mid week game against AC Milan in the Europa Cup.
Both Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal have been out of action for the last three games but the pair could return against AC Milan on Thursday as the Gunners look to confirm their place in the Europa League quarter-finals following their 2-0 win at the San Siro three days ago.
Mesut Ozil also looks to be ok after the German suffered a knock to his ankle as Arsenal claimed all three points over the Hornets, though Shkodran Mustafi is a worry for the Gunners after he was forced off with a groin injury.
After the final whistle, Wenger issued a quick injury update on the four players, revealing that Mustafi is the only player they appear to be worried about at the moment.
“He looks alright,” Wenger told reporters after the game when asked how Ozil’s ankle was feeling during his post-match press conference. “We had one problem with Mustafi who had to come off.
“[It was a] groin problem. Not sure how bad, we’ll have to check tomorrow… Bellerin is in quite a good way. He could be available for Thursday. Monreal as well.”
