Arsenal have been dealt a blow ahead of taking on AC Milan in the Europa League.

The Gunners were drawn against the fallen European giants, and travel to Milan for the first-leg of the Europa League tie.

And Arsene Wenger will be without one of his key players on Thursday.

Hector Bellerin has been ruled out of the game with a knee injury.

The right-back trained with the first-team on Wednesday and was expected to be part of the traveling party to Italy.

However, he didn’t board the plane after suffering a knock to his knee.

The severity of the injury has yet to be revealed. While he’s set to miss the first-leg, Wenger will be hoping it’s only a minor problem.

Though if the clubs medical team determine the injury serious, he could go under the knife to resolve the issues in his knee.

Arsenal’s European campaign will come as a welcome break following their embarrassing defeat to Brighton last weekend.
