Arsenal are prepared to sanction Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s move to Liverpool, as Arsene Wenger prepare to replace him with Thomas Lemar, according to reports.
The Reds remain interested in Chamberlain despite having an enquiry dismissed in January.
Ever since then, Chamberlain has been constantly linked with a move to Anfield, with Klopp said to be preparing a big money summer move for the midfielder.
Arsenal were thought not to be interested in selling the 23 year old initially but with the club struggling to initiate contract renewal talks with the midfielder, a move to Liverpool is now on the cards.
According to The Independent via The Daily Star, Arsenal are even prepared to sell Chamberlain in order to free up funds to renew the contracts of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Chamberlain’s contract expires next year and his form towards the end of last season has led to interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Liverpool hold a strong interest in the winger and it was claimed before now that Klopp was prepared to do whatever it takes to sign the versatile midfielder
Previous reports also claimed Arsenal would demand a £35m fee for the midfielder if it has to sell, it remains to be seen if Liverpool would be willing to go that high after spending a club record fee to sign Mohammed Salah few days ago.
