Arsene Wenger and his men travel to the KC Stadium to take on Steve Bruce’s Hull City side for the replay of the FA Cup tie after their initial stalemate at the Emirates Stadium a fortnight ago.
After the 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane in the weekend, Wenger will be looking to retain several of his star for this crucial clash albeit making one or two changes to the side that played against Tottenham; with Francis Coquelin’s slot expected to be taken by someone else after the Frenchman saw red in the North London derby.
The Arsenal defence should pretty much look the same with Kieran Gibbs, Gabriel Paulista, Per Mertesacker, and Hector Bellerin expected to form the backline with David Ospina in goal following Petr Cech’s spell on the sidelines and his wonderful display at Spurs in the weekend.
Iwobi will be looking to get the nod somewhere in middle of the park after his man of the match display in the stalemate at the Emirates.
Wenger would also have the headache of selecting who will start upfront for the Gunners with Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud & Theo Walcott all in contention for that slot. But with Welbeck’s being the only striker finding the back of the net in recent weeks, he’d be expected to get the nod ahead of others.
Having said this, here is how Wenger is expected to lineup his side against Hull tonight.
