Arsenal has been dealt a huge blow in the race to sign Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.
The Poland midfielder have been linked with a move to the Emirates for quite some time and it was recently reported that Arsene Wenger is still monitoring the player.
Any hope Arsenal have of luring the player to Emirates have been dashed after the player indicated he is not interested in a move to England due to the bad weather.
The Telegraph also claimed that Manchester City are monitoring the player’s situation at Seville and when asked about his future the player claimed he is happy in Spain;
“I never had a favourite league, but a favourite player in Steven Gerrard. He has always been my idol, I have not had any other and I never thought of playing for a particular club, or in a particular league. I want to do the most I can to be the best player possible but I do not have a fixed destination.”
On a move to the Premier league, the player stated;
“England? The weather is very bad there.
“I think I have grown as a player in the Spanish league, which is one of the most demanding for a defensive midfielder like me, because we cannot only be concerned with what’s happening at the back; we have to be just as quick and agile as the players we are up against – players who are very technically gifted. If it were possible, I’d like to play against the top sides every week.”
