Our previous report claims Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has revealed he would like to join Marseille in the near future.
Koscielny has been one of the Premier League’s top performing centre-backs since joining the Gunners from Lorient in 2010 making well over 200 Premier League appearances.
Now, the Arsenal captain has dismissed suggestions linking him away from the Emirates
“I have a contract with Arsenal, I even signed an extension last November until [June] 2020. I feel very good there,” he told Telefoot.
“I have always said that I was a Marseille fan when I was younger. When a mythical club like Marseille contact you, it is good. But will I sign for them? I have no idea at all.”
He revealed it was nice receiving interest from Marseille, It’s highly unlikely that Koscielny will be going anywhere this summer, especially considering Wenger’s new system of three central defenders.
The 31-year-old centre-back has admitted he supported Marseille while growing up and it appears he is open to joining the Ligue 1 outfit should they come calling.
