West Ham United have joined Liverpool in the race to Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the Daily Mail.
It is believed that Wenger would be willing to sell the winger at the end of the season and West Ham are prepared to swoop for his services should Wenger decide to let the midfielder go.
Chamberlain is currently having a mixed season at the Emirates with poor form and injuries limiting his involvement in the Gunners’ first team and he is reportedly considering his situation at the club ahead of the summer transfer window.
The midfielder who is currently sidelined due to the knee injury he sustained against Barcelona last month is keen on playing regular football and could be interested in a move to West Ham.
West Ham are not the only club interested in the 22 year old as Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the player.
Fichajes reported last month that should Liverpool miss out on Champions League football next season, they would make a move to sign Chamberlain.
Chelsea were also reportedly interested in the winger last summer when they proposed a Cech-Chamberlain swap deal which was rejected out of hand. It is believed that the Blues could return for Chamberlain this summer.
Southampton and Everton are also watching the Winger’s situation meaning as many as five English teams could fight for the 22 year old services in the summer.
Chamberlain has scored just seven league goals for Arsenal since joining the club in 2011 with a century of league games under his belt.
