Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has played down reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.

The Italian tactician is reportedly one of the top targets to replace Wenger whose contract expires at the end of the season. It’s been claimed that Allegri wants to join Arsenal with the aim of building a dynasty at the Emirates but the boss has played down those rumors insisting he still has unfinished business at Juventus.

The Italian has been successful at Juventus, winning two Serie A titles row (he is well on course to win the third one) and also guiding his team to the Champions League final in his first season.

However, he has now revealed that he wants to remain in Turin for many years, in turn dashing any hopes Arsenal fans had in him becoming our next manager.

According to the Dailycannon.com, the manager is quoted as saying:

“I’M HAPPY AT @JUVENTUSFC. I DON’T THINK MY ERA AT JUVENTUS IS OVER. I AM VERY HAPPY HERE AND HOPE TO STAY FOR MANY YEARS.”

Well, that rules out Allegri as the next Arsenal manager.

There is every possibility that Wenger would remain at the Emirates, it could also be that he would step down. It can actually go either way but one thing we know is that Allegri won’t be the man to replace him if he steps down this summer.
