Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal’s pursuit of Michy Batshuayi has suffered a huge blow, with their rivals Tottenham set to sign the in-form striker ahead of them.
The 22-year-old Belgian striker who plays for Olympique Marseille, has been in sensational form, scoring 14 times in his last 25 appearances in the French Ligue 1.
This form has not gone unnoticed, with top clubs taking notice and Arsene Wenger reportedly showing his admiration for the striker.
Arsenal has been linked with a move for the striker, and even tried to bring him in last summer, but Tottenham have gone ahead, with reports stating that the Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy has made it clear to the French club that they are interested in the forward and will be looking to seal a deal soon.
