Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid are willing to let Spanish International midfielder Francisco Alarcón Suárez leave this winter with Arsenal reportedly keen.
The Gunners are thought to be leading the chase for the attacking midfielder popularly known as ‘Isco’. The decision by the La Liga giants to sell the star comes as a surprise when considering the transfer ban imposed on them refraining them from bringing in new players in the next two transfer windows.
El Confidencial via the Metro claim Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is willing to sell Isco during the current transfer window. The player having arrived from Malaga for €30 million three years ago has failed to break into the first team at the Bernabau.
Wenger had earlier claimed he would only be active in the last ten days of the window if an ‘exceptional’ scenario presented itself “We are always open to the exceptional cases. At the moment I expect our last ten days [of the transfer window] to be quiet.” The gaffer said.
The undoubted quality of Isco who has been described by his current National team coach Vincete Del Bosque as the future of Spain surely makes him an exceptional player. A move to the Emirates will see the 23-year old line up alongside Mesut Ozil, the man he was signed to replace at Real Madrid.
An attacking midfield trio of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Isco will surely terrorise the Premier League and deliver the first title in 12years for the Gunners.
