Arsenal target Jandon Sancho is trying to force a move away from Manchester City, according to reports.
The 17 year old midfielder is pushing to leave the Etihad in search of regular first team football and has set his sights on a move to London, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur interested in signing him.
According to the Independent, Sancho has stopped training at Manchester City in a bid to force through a move.
According to the report, Sancho has been in London since last week and doesn’t have the intention of returning back to Manchester.
The talented winger is yet to sign a professional contract with City, after rejecting a £30,000 bid from the Citizens and he will only cost a compensation fee of £4m.
Tottenham and Arsenal are favorites to sign the midfielder. Spurs have already tried signing him this summer when they wanted him as part of the deal that took Kyle Walker to Manchester City
Arsenal have developed a reputation of providing a smooth path to the first team for talented youngster over the years and a player like Sancho would benefit a lot from a move to the Emirates.
Although Spurs have also promoted a good number of their academy stars to their first team in recent years, as a Gooner, I would like to see a talented player like Sancho playing at Arsenal in the future.
