Jordon Ibe (illness) has returned to training this week and is available for the trip to the Emirates. Adam Smith is also back from his one-match ban, but Jack Wilshere is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Artur Boruc and Andre Surman remain injury doubts, though. Adam Federici should continue in goal if Boruc fails to make it, while Smith may slot in at right-back, with Simon Francis returning to central defence alongside Steve Cook.

Wilshere’s absence could mean Nathan Ake plays in a defensive midfield role, perhaps alongside Dan Gosling if Surman remains sidelined with a hamstring issue.

Harry Arter could potentially move into a more advanced midfield role, with Josh King and Junior Stanislas continuing out wide for the Cherries.

Ibe may struggle to get back into the starting XI, then, with Callum Wilson set to spearhead the attack once more. Benik Afobe provides an alternative option up front.

Lewis Cook (ankle) remains sidelined.
