Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Arsenal youngster could continue his loan spell at Hull City until the end of the season, according to the Metro.
The paper in December, reported that Hull City and Arsenal have reached a Mutual agreement to allow the defender return to the Emirates this month.
However, Hull City Boss Steve Bruce insists he wants the midfielder to remain at Hull City although admitted there is a possibility the 20 year old could return to the Emirates this month.
When asked about the midfielder’s return to Arsenal, Bruce said:
‘There’s a chance, but I hope not.
‘If I’ve got anything to do with it, he will stay because he’s the type that if he gets into the team, he could stay there.
‘The first thing is he is a loan player so you have to be thankful that he’s here, that’s he’s come and wanted to play for us. So we have to be right by him.’
The midfielder was impressive when he initially joined the tigers last summer but has found first team opportunities at the club a little bit difficult of recent.
Hayden, is highly rated at Arsenal and the club’s hierarchy are keen to see the defender get regular playing time out on loan.
Should the Gunners eventually recall the midfielder who can also function as a centre defender from his loan spell at Hull, they will surely loan him out again in order to play regular football.
