Arsenal are one of the three clubs chasing Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, according to reports.

The Spaniard has already revealed he will leave Barcelona this summer after three successful seasons at the Camp Nou.

Although, he hasn’t yet revealed what step he is going to take next, whether to take up another coaching job or take a holiday, he is already attracting interests from three top clubs.

According to Don Balon via Tribal Football, Arsenal, PSG and Roma have all contacted Enrique’s representatives to ascertain the possibility of the tactician joining them.

The futures of the managers of each of the three clubs are currently uncertain and it is no surprise that Enrique is on their radar.

Unai Emery has failed to impress since joining PSG last summer and could be shown the exit door if he fails to win a title at the end of the season.

AS Roma’s boss Luciano Spalletti is being linked with a move to Juventus and the Giallorossi have lined up their former employee Enrique as a replacement.

As for Arsenal, Wenger is yet to sign a new contract at Arsenal and this has prompted reports linking with different managers. It is claimed the Gunners hierarchy are actively discussing Enrique as a successor for the French man.

While Enrique has proven his credentials as a top manager at Barcelona, I don’t think he is the right person to replace Wenger. There is no doubt that he is a top manager who have won major titles but I still have doubt about his man management.

It’s very likely Wenger would sign a new deal. Even if he doesn’t, Max Allegri will be my choice to become Arsenal’s next manager.
