The Spanish under 21 international only signed a new deal with Betis as recently as October and had a buy out clause of £9.2million inserted, any deal to sign the midfielder would however have to include bonuses.

The 19-year-old was was part of the Spain squad and starred in Greece as the Spanish side won the UEFA European Under-19 Championships this year. He was immediately promoted to the Under-21s where he has won seven caps thus far.
